What is White Lightning? White Lightning equine hoof treatment is the activechlorine dioxide (ClO2) solution, which has been shown to be very aggressivein neutralizing bacteria, fungus and yeast. When combined with equal partswhite vinegar, White Lightning eliminates hoof rot, thrush, scratches, whiteline disease and other skin fungus on contact in horses, pigs and cattle. Howto use: Easytouse, White Lightning Gel formula allows for applicationdirectly to the hoof. Already contains the active chlorine dioxidesolution…no mixing required! Allows you to apply combined solution directlyto hoof. For thrush and white line disease, apply 23 times per week for 46weeks, then 12 times weekly until hoof has grown out completely. Fortreatment of skin fungus, apply 23 times per week for 2 weeks, then 12 timesweekly until completely healed. Activate Liquid formula by mixing with equalamounts of white vinegar in a nonmetal container; stays active for up to 8hours. For hoof soak, combine 2 oz White Lightning, 2 oz white vinegar andenough water to cover half way up the hoof capsule. Insert hoof in DisposableSoak Bag (sold separately) or heavy plastic bag to contain the chlorinedioxide gas and secure top to prevent leakage. For best results, keep hoofcontained for 4045 minutes. Repeat 23 times per week for 46 weeks, then 12times weekly until hoof has grown out completely. Use once a month thereafterto help keep white line disease away. Important notes: do not mix more thanyou’re going to use at one time. Best if used on unshod animals on soft groundand protected from pawing. Protect from freezing.
