Chewing can be a very effective wayto help calm, self-regulate, and focus, so these chewy tools are a perfectpairing for homework, note-taking, and more. As an added bonus, they also addextra weight to the pencil for increased hand awareness. They’re modeled afterthe same prism-shape as ARK’s Krypto-Bite necklace, but with a hollow tube onone end to conveniently fit over standard 2 pencils. This magenta one is softand chewy, recommended for MILD chewers. Tougher versions are availableseparately (search for the XT or XXT versions). Designed, manufactured, andassembled in the USA by ARK Therapeutic. Medical grade, FDA compliant, NOlead, phthalates, PVC, BPA, or latex. Color hues may vary slightly. Bestpractice is to use with eraser-less pencils. Sold here in a set of threetoppers, with one free eraser-less pencil included :). Highly recommended forindividuals who have autism or sensory needs. Caution: This product is not atoy. Recommended for ages 6-7 and up (which is also the age that childrentypically start using standard pencils). Although these chew tools are sturdyand durable, no chew tool is indestructible. Some individuals (particularlythose with heavy oral needs and aggressive biting/chewing) may be able todamage the tools – how long they last depends on the sensory needs of theindividual as well as other variables (stress/anxiety levels in their life,etc).
