AlphaTrak 3 Control Solution is used to perform a controlsolution test with your AlphaTrak 3 Blood Glucose Meter for cats and dogs withdiabetes. A control solution test can be conducted to practice and getfamiliar with using the device before testing your diabetic cat or dog.Control solution testing can also be conducted to confirm the meter and teststrips work together properly, or if you are unsure of the blood glucose testresults. Its recommended that you perform a control solution test with everynew container of test strips. The AlphaTrak 3 Control Solution should only beused with the AlphaTrak 3 meter and AlphaTrak 3 Test Strips. Control solutionresults are only accurate when used at temperatures between 39 104 F (4 40 C).
